Legendary Rock Band Aerosmith Comes to Budapest

Aerosmith will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a major world tour, which will include taking the stage at Puskás Arena in Budapest on July 10. Ticket presale has already begun, reports concert promoter Live Nation.

Aerosmith is one of the oldest and most famous rock bands still active. With over 150 million albums sold worldwide, Aerosmith is also one of the most commercially successful American music groups of all time, the organizer points out. The July 10 concert will be opened by American rock band Rival Sons and Hungarian rock-metal band, Road.

Aerosmith was formed in 1970 by Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and Tom Hamilton in Boston. They created many classics like “Dream On,” “Mama Kin,” “Back in the Saddle,” “Janie’s Got a Gun,” “Crazy,” “Cryin’,” and “Living on the Edge.” Today, they still play to packed arenas and stadiums, although most members of the band are over 70.
