New Record Buyout Clause for Hungarian Footballer

Hungary Today 2021.09.03.

Hungarian football player Dominik Szoboszlai’s release clause is 70 million euros, reports Tag24. Szoboszlai currently plays at RB Leipzig, and if another club wants to recruit him, it has to pay that sum to make sure the deal can happen.

Szoboszlai’s contract at RB Leipzig ends in 2026. His release clause is worth 70 million euros, which means that if another club offers the same amount of money or more, Leipzig has to let him go. As a point of reference, the 20 year-old Szoboszlai is currently more than four times as valuable as Cristiano Ronaldo, who transferred from Juventus to Manchester United for 15 million euros.
