Following bomb scares in malls in Budapest and across the country, as well as at the Museum of Fine Arts, there was another bomb scare in Népliget, the main bus station of the Hungarian capital.
The bus station had to be closed completely for an indefinite period of time so no vehicles could leave the station.
The Népliget bus station is closed due to a bomb alert. Until further notice, buses will depart from the Népliget (park) corner, and the metro replacement buses will depart from the Kőbánya-Kispest bus stops. Look for our colleagues on the scene. Thank you for your understanding,”
announced Voláninform.
Meanwhile, the Corvin Plaza in Budapest was also evacuated in the morning hours, so it is not inconceivable that there were again simultaneous bomb threats at various locations in the country.
Dear Visitors! Unfortunately, our shopping center has received another bomb threat! Police are evacuating and searching the entire building. We ask for your patience and cooperation!”,
the mall shared.
Previously, malls in Budapest as well as in others cities in Hungary also had to be evacuated due to bomb threats. It is still not known whether police found any bombs at any of the sites.
