The Country’s First Robotized Pizzeria Opens its Doors

Hungary Today 2024.02.14.

Hungary’s first robotized pizzeria has opened in Mohács, Baranya County. The fast food restaurant advertises itself on social media as the place where technology and gastronomy meet, reports Világgazdaság.

The owner of the pizzeria says that no one touches the food while it is being prepared, and consumers can watch the robot prepare the order.

Pizza can be ready within five minutes of ordering,”

the restaurant promises.

In the future, we can expect to see more and more robots like this, notes the news site. Earlier last year, a restaurant in Croatia became a world leader after its robots cooked a meal without human intervention. All you have to do is load the machines with ingredients, and the robot does everything else based on a digital recipe put together by a human chef. While other restaurants use robots to make fries, burgers, or pizza, the one in Croatia made a complete one-pot meal, an idea that took seven years and more than EUR 1 million to bring to reality.
