Ryanair to Resume Flights between Budapest and Tel Aviv

Hungary Today 2024.04.09.

Ryanair will resume flights to Israel from several European cities, including Budapest, from the beginning of June, AIRportal reports.

The Irish low-cost carrier will offer five flights a week from Budapest to Tel Aviv from June 4. According to a Ryanair statement, from the beginning of June, a total of 40 flights a week will be operating to Israel from several European bases: Athens, Bari, Berlin, Budapest, Malta, Milan, and Paphos.

From June 4, the airline will operate five flights a week between Budapest and Tel Aviv, except on Mondays and Sundays.

Ryanair, like many other airlines, suspended its flights to Israel following the October 2023 air strikes and the subsequent war.

As Hungary Today previously reported, Wizz Air re-launched its flights to Tel Aviv in early March, operating three times a week from Budapest on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays. From spring, in addition to Budapest,  flights will also operate to Tel Aviv from Bucharest, Krakow, London-Luton, Rome-Fiumicino, and Sofia airports.
