The Hungarian Armed Forces will once again contribute to the fight against the coronavirus, with around 300 soldiers helping with temperature measurement, as well as various logistical and administrative tasks in the country’s hospitals.

Hungarian soldiers were already deployed in the healthcare sector during the previous waves of the pandemic. This time around, 300 men will be made available in the country’s hospitals starting November 2nd to relieve the burden on healthcare workers.
Soldiers will primarily assist with temperature measurement, directing and escorting patients, and performing various logistical and administrative tasks.
