New Dual-branded Hotel Opens Next to a Stadium in Budapest

TRIBE, one of Accor’s fastest growing hotel brands in Europe, is opening its first hotel in Budapest, reports Turizmus.com. The newly built, dual-branded hotel with ibis will be located in the Liberty, a unique multifunctional project by WING.

The ibis & TRIBE Budapest Stadium will offer 332 hotel rooms (split equally between the two brands), various F&B services, and a complex with conference and fitness facilities.

Under a management agreement between Accor and WING, Central Europe’s leading real estate development and investment group, the dual-branded TRIBE & ibis hotel will be owned by WING and operated by Accor.

Liberty is a mixed-use development of international standard. Situated halfway between Liszt Ferenc International Airport and the city center, the Budapest Stadium Hotel, including the TRIBE and ibis brands, is located in close proximity to the Groupama Arena, the MVM Dome, the National Athletics Center, the Müpa Budapest (Palace of Arts), and the National Theater.

The hotel is also TRIBE’s premiere on the Hungarian market, with 166 rooms combining maximum comfort and state-of-the-art technology.

The concept features a vibrant community space on the lower level, with a cozy lobby and lounge that doubles as a business corner in the center.

The hotel also offers an all-day à la carte restaurant, a fitness room, underground parking, and accessible rooms. Its conference center can accommodate up to 200 people and is available in four separate sections with a multifunctional event hall.

In spring, a Sky Bar will also open on the roof of the building.

The new hotels will be located in the 9th district of Budapest, in the southern wing of the Liberty project, next to the Groupama Arena and Telekom headquarters. Its location offers excellent transport connections – metro M3, tram 1, trains, and long-distance buses. The hotels are 15 minutes away from Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport, and the M5 motorway is also close by.

The unique project has been designed to the latest environmental, sustainability, and occupational safety standards, in line with BREEAM Excellent and Access4you Gold certifications. The building’s A+ class offices, hotels, and commercial units serve the comfort and practical needs of all its users.
