Roland Sallai remains popular on the international transfer market. The Freiburg player, who is also a winger for the Hungarian national football team, could soon be changing not just club but country, according to a Twitter post by Italian journalist Matteo Moreto, reports Magyar Nemzet.
Two new buyers are reportedly interested in Roland Sallai. One is French Europa League side Rennes and the other is Premier League side West Ham United, also in playing in the Europa League.

The Hungarian footballer has been eyed by the manager of West Ham United, David Moyes, and he sees great potential in the signing of the winger. Moretto claims Sallai is one of the Scottish coach’s favorites. Roland Sallai is currently estimated to be worth 10 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
The Hungarian footballer was also mentioned in the Kicker magazine’s ranking of the best players in the Bundesliga earlier this year. He was cited among the wingers, but just missed out on being among the best. Kicker wrote that “although he scored six points in four games at the start of the season, he had several lackluster performances during the season and was even dropped from the match day squad due to disciplinary problems.”
If Roland Sallai ends up signing to England, there would be four Hungarian footballers playing in the prestigious Premier League.
Dominik Szoboszlai, formerly of RB Leipzig, joined Liverpool during the summer transfer window. In addition, Milos Kerkez, formerly of AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands, has now joined Bournemouth. Liverpool and Bournemouth will face each other this weekend, meaning the two Hungarian internationals will line up against each other. Besides Kerkez and Szoboszlai, Bendegúz Bolla is also playing in the Premier League for Wolverhampton Wonderers.
