In keeping with tradition, the 50-year-old Boglár Harvest Festival, one of the oldest cultural, wine, gastronomic and family festivals in Hungary, will be held again this year at Platán beach in Balatonboglár, writes Turizmus.com.
This summer, the event will offer colorful programs: dozens of concerts, fairs, a handicraft courtyard, gastronomic specialties, a children’s festival and wines from the country’s famous wine regions.

It is worth combining the festival with a beach holiday, as the 50th anniversary event will take place on a popular beach on the southern shore of Lake Balaton for five days on August 16-20.

This year, in addition to the music program,
visitors will be able to see Europe’s largest exhibition of Ferrari relics.
In addition, each day, large car gatherings will fill the area in front of the main stage from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. On August 16, the program starts with the special BMW gathering and continues on Saturday with the Garage OTT, RAT and tuning gathering. On the following days, the Alfa Romeo Hungary Club will be on show, followed by the Scuderia Ungherese Italian car gathering and on the final day, the Meeting On The Beach car stereo and tuning show.
The international guest of the festival this year will be Italy. ITALIA-EXPO will bring together manufacturers of technologies essential for agriculture, crop production and livestock breeding in the shade of the trees along the promenade on the harbor side. The event is free to all.
