Between April 15 and 21, the 22 restaurants voted the best by the guests of the National Restaurant Week in March will once again be able to offer their favorite menus at fixed prices.
Every year, National Restaurant Week selects the best performing restaurants, the best cuisine, and the best service, whose three- or four-course menus will be available again during the extra week in April.
The top category starts from HUF 5,900 (EUR 15), the premium category from HUF 7,900 (EUR 20.3), and the exclusive category from HUF 9,900 (EUR 25.5) including service charge.
During National Restaurant Week in March, 190 restaurants offered special menus and the public could vote for their favorites. More than 4,000 votes were taken into account by the organizers in the top list, based on actual reservations made through the DiningCity system.
After the scores were weighted and aggregated, an independent restaurant top list was created, reflecting the opinions of the guests, including Costes Downtown, Gundel Café Patisserie Restaurant, Tapassio, The Station Restaurant, Manna Lounge & Restaurant, Buda Gourmet Bistro & Market, Il Pastaio, Fermento Pizzeria, and ONO Poke bowl & bar.
The most popular restaurants in the countryside were the Sons of the Wind Inn & Cellarium in Nyúl (northwestern Hungary), the Donautica Hotel and Restaurant in Fadd (southern Hungary), and the Abbey Rege Confectionery in Tihany (northern shore of Lake Balaton).
The special prize for best cuisine went to the ARZ Lebanese restaurant, the Macesz Bistro, the BOATanic terrace & bar, the Promontor, and the Maison Bistro & Hotel, while the special prize for best service went to the staff of the Incognito Kitchen & Bar, the Vadrózsa Restaurant, the Rosinante Country Inn in Szigetmonostor (near Budapest), the Urban Betyár, and the Dabas Deli Bistro (near Budapest).
Reservations for the exclusive event can be made exclusively online from today at www.etteremhet.hu.
