Eight wine exhibitors, gastronomic and craft fairs, and stage performances will await visitors at the Tokaj Wine Days this weekend, between May 31 and June 2, the organizers announced.
In addition to the wine stands in the city center, several wineries will welcome visitors with open cellars during the event. In addition to wine tastings and guided cellar tours, most of the venues will also offer special gastronomic delights.

The three-day event will be held in the streets surrounding Kossuth Square instead of at the usual Kossuth Square due to ongoing construction works in the Tokaj city center.

The event will be held under the slogan “multiple venues, live with the winemakers,” will also feature the presentation of the Mayors’ Wine, a non-commercial wine specialty made from grapes produced by the local wine-growing settlements of the region.

The Tokaj weekend festival will also feature concerts by local and regional bands on Saturday evening, and on Sunday, the Habana Social Club from Cuba will perform at the Paulay Ede Theater.
