On Friday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán traveled to Türkiye, where he held talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, current Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović, and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
With President Erdogan, the parties discussed the issue of securing Hungary’s energy supply to the south.
Due to Ukraine’s hostile behavior, Hungary’s gas supply to the east has practically ceased, and it can only ensure its secure energy supply and maintain the gas supply through the TurkStream.
The politicians also discussed the development of Hungarian-Turkish economic, military, and defense cooperation.

Over the weekend, the Hungarian Prime Minister attended the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he held talks with Željka Cvijanović, Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the meeting, Mr. Orbán stressed that the stability and peace of the Western Balkans is a priority for Hungary and Europe as a whole. Hungary is therefore ready to continue to support Bosnia and Herzegovina in its efforts to overcome the factors threatening its stability.

Also on Saturday, Viktor Orbán held talks with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. During the meeting, they reviewed the possibilities for developing Hungarian-Georgian economic and trade relations and prepared the ground for the Hungarian-Georgian government summit in Hungary in June this year.
