The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) will meet in Budapest next spring, Miklós Szánthó, director of the pro-Fidesz Centre for Fundamental Rights, announced on Wednesday.
Hungarian and American conservatives are linked through “respect for traditional values, love for the homeland, as well as appreciation for the family, safety of the nation, and protection of the borders”, Szánthó told a press conference. “They are separated by an ocean, still, they feel in both countries that their lifestyle is under a comprehensive attack,” he insisted.
The conference will probably be held in late March, Szánthó said.
