Hungarian national football team striker Kevin Csoboth will continue his career in FC St. Gallen, Switzerland.

According to the club’s website, the 24-year-old has signed a contract until 2028.

“Kevin is a quick, agile and goal-sensitive football player who can play in several positions up front,” stressed sporting director Roger Stilz. “Despite his young age, he has international experience and we are delighted that he has chosen us.”

Csoboth has spent the last two seasons with Újpest FC, scoring 12 goals and 11 assists in 59 games, and scored the winning goal in the 101st minute against Scotland at the UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany, this June.

FC St. Gallen, founded in 1879, is the oldest Swiss football club, but has won only two league titles (Swiss Super League: 1904, 2000) and one Swiss Cup (1969). It was relegated to the second division twice in the 2000s, but has stabilized its position in the top flight for the last ten years. Its home matches are played at the 19,694-seat Kybunpark, formerly known as AFG Arena.
