Jazeera Airways and Budapest Airport have signed a letter of intent to launch direct flights between Kuwait and Budapest. Also good news for travelers is that Wizz Air has announced the resumption of flights between Budapest and Tel Aviv, Israel.
Jazeera Airways’ flights to the Hungarian capital will start in the summer of 2025 and will operate twice weekly, Airportal.hu reports. No timetable has been announced yet, but the flight will appear on booking systems in the near future. The letter of intent was signed in the presence of Hungary’s ambassador to Kuwait, András Szabó, according to the Embassy’s social media post.

The airline will promote tourism to Hungary in cooperation with the Hungarian Tourism Agency, and the agreement aims to ensure a stable and convenient air connection for both leisure and business travelers on the route, the Embassy wrote.
This is an important milestone for the relations between Hungary and Kuwait. The diplomatic relations between our countries that were built 60 years ago are getting extended with the social – touristic relation and the people to people contacts with this opportunity,”

The airline currently offers flights to over 60 destinations in the Middle East, South and Central Asia, Europe and Africa.

Wizz Air reintroduced flights between Budapest and Tel Aviv from January 15.
The low-cost airline announced that tickets are now available from HUF 28,490 (EUR 69) on Wizz Air’s official website.
Flights will depart from the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport Terminal 2B at 5:40 a.m. every day of the week, arriving in the Israeli city on the Mediterranean coast at 9:55 a.m. after a flight of around 3 hours 15 minutes.
