Three Budapest Hotels among Best in Europe

Three hotels in Budapest have made it into the top ten of the best hotels in Europe, according to guest reviews. In Tripadvisor’s 2024 ranking, Hotel Moments Budapest came fifth, Hotel Vision Budapest, also part of the Continental Group portfolio, was seventh, and Hotel Clark Budapest was eighth. The winner was the Voyage Belek Golf & Spa in Belek, Turkey.

With this award, the travel platform recognizes operators that have received a high number of outstanding ratings from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period, Turizmus.com points out in its article, stressing that less than one percent of the eight million places on the list reach this milestone.

Based on this, among the top ten hotels,

• three are in Turkey
• three in Hungary
• one in Portugal
• one in Cyprus
• one in Spain
• one in Greece.

The winner was the Voyage Belek Golf & Spa Hotel in Belek, Turkey, ahead of its “compatriot,” the Romance Istanbul Hotel in Istanbul and the Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal.

It is wonderful news that three Hungarian “houses” also made the list, with Hotel Moments Budapest in fifth place, Hotel Vision Budapest, in seventh, and Hotel Clark Budapest in eighth.

“The recognition for us, as a group, is very strong feedback on our services in a fierce European tourism competition. At the same time, this success represents a significant promotional value not only for the Continental Group, but for Budapest as a destination,” Miklós Hajdu, the group’s sales and marketing director, told Turizmus.com.

As the travel site points out, Hotel Clark Budapest was ranked fifth among Europe’s top 25 luxury hotels, while Kozmo Hotel Suites & Spa, also in Budapest, was ranked 25th. Furthermore, in the top 25 of the small and boutique hotel category, Maison Bistro & Hotel Budapest was ranked ninth.
