Hungary is supporting the relatives of Sándor Kis, a Hungarian soldier from Transcarpathia who died in the Ukrainian war, karpatinfo.net reported.

The Russian-Ukrainian war, now in its sixth day, has also claimed a Hungarian victim. 29-year-old Sándor Kis from Ungvár (Uzhhorod) who served in the Navy, was killed in the conflict. His wife and two young sons are mourning the young man.
“The Hungarian government and the Hungarian people are deeply shocked that 29-year-old Sándor Kis from Transcarpathia was killed in the clashes in Ochakovi in the Russian-Ukrainian war that broke out on February 24,” the Consulate General of Hungary in Ungvár (Uzhhorod) announced on their social media page.
The Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade will support the family of the Hungarian-born war hero and his two minor children.
The donation was accepted by the mother of the deceased soldier on February 28, 2022 at the Consulate General.
