The satirical Two-tailed Dog Party (MKKP) is turning to the Kúria, the supreme court, after the National Election Committee’s decision to reject its complaint concerning votes to be cast by Serbian Hungarians by mail.
In a statement, the party said that the package of election letters to ethnic Hungarians in Vojvodina province were delivered by the Fidesz-ally VMSZ political party, and “voters have been influenced in the process”.
In its appeal, the party will ask the Kuria to establish that rules have been violated and ban the National Election Office from sending the letters via the VMSZ.
