Rihanna Wears Gloves Made in Hungary at Super Bowl

Hungary Today 2023.02.15.

Rihanna performed the halftime show at this year’s Super Bowl championship, where the famous Barbadian singer wore a piece of clothing made by a Hungarian company: a pair of gloves to be precise.

The exciting Hungarian aspect was reported on Facebook by the Pécs-Baranyai Chamber of Commerce of Industry, who wrote that Rihanna wore the gloves courtesy of Pécs Gloves International (PGI). As they pointed out, several variations were made for the world star, but in the end, a fiery red glove made of soft lambskin was the winner.

This was not the first time Rihanna had worn the company’s product, hence it was easy to get the exact size right.

The Pécs-Baranyai Chamber of Industry and Commerce wrote that Pécs Gloves International is not very well known under this name, as in Hungary and the surrounding area the public is more familiar with the manufacturer’s own brand, Karma Pécs Gloves. The products of this company are already widely worn not only in Hungary, but also abroad.

Pécsi Gloves International works with several famous stars who wear the outstanding work of Pécs specialists.

Such inquiries from the United States are thanks to Dorothy Gaspar, a Hungarian-born designer with a glove-maker family background.

The southern Hungarian town of Pécs is famous for its glove manufacturing, and while PGI preserves its traditional values, it also tries to serve customers with innovations and new technical solutions that are different from the average and meet the challenges of the times, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry wrote in its post.
