The National Infrastructure Development Company, NIF, (Nemzeti Infrastruktúra Fejlesztő Zrt.) has published a tender for the renovation of a total of 28 stations and stops. As part of the renovation, except for three highlighted locations, the existing stations and buildings (many of which are particularly valuable) will be modernized, and in several locations the platforms will also be made barrier-free. Furthermore, the passenger information systems will also be modernized, bicycle parking facilities will be built, and green spaces will be formed, among other things.

On the northern shore of Lake Balaton and on the southern shore, a total of 28 stations and stops will soon be renovated. In the latest tender, NIF is looking for contractors from Balatonaliga to Balatonfenyves, in the following 13 settlements on Lake Balaton.
In general, modernization is taking place, but at three sites new buildings will replace the old ones:
