“#Stipi Camp is one of my favourite programs in the year, where I get to meet talented, interested young people who are open to the world. In the two-day camp at Lake Balaton, students who got admitted to the world’s most prestigious universities compete for the Stipendium Peregrinum scholarship. The applicants are still at the beginning of a long journey, but I hope that the few days we will spend together now will leave a lasting impact on them,” posted Katalin Novák on her Facebook page.
According to MTI, forty-nine young people competed for the scholarship in Balatonszárszó this weekend, with the best students receiving a year-long scholarship to study abroad.
The two-day camp was attended by the President of the Republic, Katalin Novák, the main patron of the camp, who launched the scholarship program four years ago as State Secretary for Families.
