MTI-Hungary Today 2022.03.22.

Fully 90.8 percent of ethnic Hungarians with dual Romanian-Hungarian citizenship have expressed support for Hungary’s ruling Fidesz-Christian Democrat alliance, new portal Maszol.ro said on Monday.

Referring to the survey conducted by SoDiSo Research for the Eurotrans Foundation in late January and early February, the portal said the results were essentially unchanged from four years ago. Hungary’s united opposition would garner 1.9 percent of the votes of Romanian Hungarians in the April 3 election, the portal said, adding that 7.3 percent of the participants were undecided.

The poll’s sample was of 1,309 randomly selected adults.
