The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, believes that opposition leader Péter Magyar and the Tisza Party are backed by foreign powers. “I am not arguing with Péter Magyar or the Tisza Party, but rather with their masters,” emphasized Viktor Orbán in an interview published on Mandiner’s YouTube channel on Sunday morning.
He stated that the basic structure of Hungarian politics has remained unchanged for centuries, with the question remaining of “who is your master?” The Prime Minister added that the he serves Hungarian people, “I am a man of the Hungarian people,” but his opponents and their masters have never wanted what is good for the Hungarian people.
It has always been dictated from outside what this country needs. And such people are always found by foreign powers who care about what happens in Hungary and want to influence Hungarian events,”
he said, noting that this is why he confronts the Tisza Party and Péter Magyar every month in Brussels.
“It sounds funny, but there is also a little pain in it when you say that those who do not vote for us are still better off, and those who vote for them are worse off. And yet they still vote for them,” the Prime Minister said during the interview.
