Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on Tuesday discussed the Russian-Ukrainian situation in a phone call with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, and assured him of Hungary’s continued support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, the PM’s press chief said in a statement.
Orbán told Zelensky that as a neighboring country, Hungary viewed the situation in Ukraine with concern, Bertalan Havasi told MTI.
The prime minister said that as part of the European coordinated response, Hungary will support the European Union’s joint efforts to settle the conflict, adding that the Hungarian government was in constant consultations with its Western allies.
