New Pop-up Park to Open in the Heart of the Capital

Hungary Today 2024.05.08.

From May 17, the City Hall pop-up park will open its doors. The new community space in the courtyard of Budapest City Hall will offer a real retreat from the city noise in the center of the capital with exciting solutions, unique street furniture, and plants, Turizmus.com reports.

On November 17, 2023, Budapest’s 150th birthday, the City Hall Courtyard opened its doors. Half a year later, on May 17, the courtyard will not only be open for festivals. The courtyard, which until recently was a car park, is now fully revamped, with permanent catering facilities, seasonal and thematic programs, workshops, concerts, and other community events.
