Milos Kerkez has been left out of the Hungarian national football team squad due to an injury, and has been replaced by Szabolcs Schön, who has been called up by head coach Marco Rossi.
According to the Hungarian Football Federation (MLSZ), the Bournemouth left-back will not join the national team due to a “recurring knee complaint.”
On Saturday, Kerkez played the whole match in the English top flight, losing 3-2 away to Brentford. Eight-time international Schön, who was called up to replace him, also started for Bolton Wanderers in the English third division, the Hungarian coming on as a substitute in the 77th minute of a 5-0 defeat at Stockport.
