The National Center for Public Health and Pharmacy, the National Police Headquarters, and the Drug Research Institute are launching a national roadshow to combat addictions and mental health issues.

This initiative follows a study conducted last year aimed at enhancing prevention and education efforts among colleagues and police officers.

The roadshow, which began in Veszprém (western Hungary), will engage professionals from three counties, allowing them to share research findings and effective working methods through interactive simulations.

The goal is to foster closer collaboration between police officers addressing drug-related issues and the healthcare and social service systems.

Improved cooperation among health, social, and crime prevention networks is expected to enhance the ability to tackle the harms associated with drug use and distribution. The national event aims to empower young people to embrace positive lifestyles and reject drugs by bolstering the effectiveness of prevention services.
