On April 12, we celebrate the International Day of Human Space Flight. On this day in 1961, the world’s first spacecraft carrying humans was launched from the Soviet Union into orbit with Air Force Major Yuri Gagarin on board.

The observatory’s event aims to bring visitors closer to the unreachable stars of the sky, the wonders and cosmic curiosities of the universe, and to immerse them in the beauty of astronomical phenomena through visual and astrophotographic observation, while learning about astronomical telescopes.
