According to the data of online travel agency kiwi.com, the Hungarian capital is in first place in terms of booking numbers for the period between November 2021 and February 2022, even overtaking London, which for years has been the most popular destination.

London, Paris, Vienna, and Berlin, in particular, are popular for short city visits, but this fall the Hungarian capital has far overtaken these cities, with Paris only managing to take eighth place, and the German capital being pushed out of the top 10 list.
According to data from online travel site kiwi.com, most bookings were made for Budapest between November 1, 2021, and February 28, 2022.
The greatest interest for Budapest comes from Russia and the United Kingdom, and the length of stay is 1-3 days. Two-thirds of visitors are less than 40 years old and 46 percent travel alone.
