Several media outlets reported on Wednesday that Minister of Technology and Industry László Palkovics has resigned. According to Index, the reason for the minister’s departure is that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán supported the proposal of Economic Development Minister Márton Nagy to set up a separate energy ministry, significantly changing the structure and competence of the Ministry of Technology and Industry (TIM).
