Through an agreement between Market Asset Management Zrt. and Marriott International, Hungary’s first branded residence development will be realized in Budapest’s Körszálló (Round Hotel), under the name Marriott Residences Budapest, turizmus.com reported.
The iconic building will house 48 exclusive apartments with panoramic views and premium services such as wellness, concierge, 24-hour security, a cinema, and a private bar. The project is expected to be completed in 2027.

said Jaidev Menezes, Regional Vice President, Mixed-Use Development for Marriott International.

The renovation will preserve the building’s original features while incorporating modern, sustainable technologies such as a zero-carbon, ground-source heat pump system. The investment will also benefit the development of the neighborhood: the neglected parking lot will be converted into a green park, and residents will be able to park in an underground garage, increasing green space and property values.
