The search for a 6-year-old Hungarian girl has come to a happy end on Monday. Zora disappeared on Sunday from a farm in Pér, near Győr, in western Hungary, where she was playing with her dog in the yard. The child followed the dog for a while, but then got lost in the fog.
Hundreds of civilians, special searchers, the emergency services and the police searched for the little girl. Zora walked several kilometers and spent the whole night outdoors. Her body temperature was very low when she was miraculously located on Monday morning near the airport in Pér.
The little girl was found by a paraglider who had just lifted off when he spotted her.
When I landed next to her, she was not frightened, she was not crying. She was sitting peacefully,”
Szabolcs Mehringer, who found the girl, told Blikk, a Hungarian daily tabloid newspaper. Fortunately, the child was not hurt and is now back with her family and loved ones.
