Sunday marked the first Sunday of the Advent season this year, and many Hungarian politicians shared pictures of their Advent wreaths. However, Zoltán Kovács has certainly won the title for the “most unique and surprising” wreath this year, if there was such a prize.
The Orbán-government’s international spokesman has long been known as a passionate hunter. Lately, he was the government commissioner responsible for the hunting expo held in Hungary. He is also the editor-in-chief of the hunting magazine “Nimród,” and has many times talked about his passion for hunting.
Knowing all this, however, his new Advent wreath has still surprised many. Kovács posted a photo on his Instagram page, which has since gone viral in the Hungarian media. The golden candles and the ribbon with reindeers would not have caused much of a stir. But… the politician’s Advent wreath is decorated with bullet casings. Dozens of them, based on the photo.
However, everyone can celebrate in any way they please.
