Kerkez Joins Greek Football Club Aris FC

Hungary Today 2025.01.30.

Kerkez’s transfer to a Greek top flight team has recently been the news that made many people sit up and take notice. It soon became clear, however, that it was not the Hungarian national team’s main man, Milos Kerkez, who is playing brilliantly for Premier League side Bournemouth, but his brother Marko Kerkez, reports Magyar Nemzet.

The 24-year-old, who like his brother also plays on the left wing, has played for SC Columbia and SV Gablitz in Austria at the beginning of his career. This was followed by the U19 team of Győr ETO, then Serbia’s FK Rad, FK Kabel Novi Sad and FK Stanisic. He joined Partizan in September 2024, making his debut for the Serbian giants in November last year, but he did not follow up and has now decided to make the switch.

I am coming to one of the biggest clubs in Greece. I an really looking forward to starting training and meeting my coach and teammates.

My friend Alexis, who played for Iraklis, told me great things about Aris and the Greek league. They are one of the biggest teams in Greece, with fanatical fans who love their team,” said Marko Kerkez. The player added that he will do his best for his new team and to help Aris achieve their goal of finishing in the top four in the league.
