Ivan Petryak, Fehérvár’s Ukrainian football player, has taken eight refugees into his home where he lives with his wife and two children.
As the footballer’s home is only 65 square meters, this is a particularly remarkable act.
According to information from Ukrinform, in addition to taking in refugees, Petryak is also ready to help the Ukrainian army with helmets, weapons, and even a tank, but he does not know where to get one.
The midfielder scored a goal in the Hungarian Cup quarter-final against ETO FC Győr on Thursday, and after his goal he burst into tears, joining his compatriots in a call to stop the war.
