New faces are being added to the Szeged Youth Festival’s (SZIN) lineup. The Italian DJ formation Meduza, Sam Feldt, who has played on the world’s most prestigious stages, and Carpetman, a solo artist from Ukraine will also perform at the event between August 27 and 30.
Meduza has a huge fan base with its distinctive sound. Their debut hit Peace of Your Heart has reached almost 20 billion streams, they have toured the world’s biggest events including Elrow, Tomorrowland, EDC and Coachella and will be at Coca-Cola SZIN this summer.
Dutch-born DJ Sam Feldt has been a household name in house for over a decade, with his 2023 track Crying On The Dancefloor reaching 100 million streams by March 2024.
Carpetman is an enigmatic young artist known for performing behind a carpet mask. His music sits at the intersection of house and blues. His EP Struggling By Myself and Shades Of Gray show his unique style and versatility.
Aside from international artists the South-Hungarian festival welcomes many Hungarian musicians too. So far 27 such performers have been announced.

In its second era, SZIN was set up by Zsolt Szurdi, the former leader of the Szeged Rock Club, who tried to keep it alive for about ten years in various venues, but in the end, due to lack of support, the organizers were unable to host the event.
The third phase began in 2002, when the city government revived the festival. The party in Szeged had already been anticipated by national bands and was slowly being discovered by international acts.
