A number of world stars, including Kraftwerk, Iggy Pop, Paul Kalkbrenner, Paolo Nutini, Steve Aoki, Papa Roach, and Hollywood Undead, will have concerts in the coming months at the new Gyárkert KultúrPark in Veszprém, western Hungary.
More than sixty foreign and Hungarian artists will perform at the new pop-up venue, one of the key summer events of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture program, the organizer told MTI on Thursday. From May 5 until the first weekend of September, the audience will be entertained by concerts, bands, and DJs every week for three or four days.
Italian trio Medvza will play on May 13, Irish ex-Moloko singer Roisín Murphy will perform on June 9, German techno star Paul Kalkbrenner will perform on June 10, and American nu metal acts Papa Roach and Hollywood Undead will perform on June 13.
British singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini will take to the stage on July 17, Japanese-born American DJ Steve Aoki on July 22, and Iggy Pop, the indomitable American rock icon, will perform on July 30.
Living German electronic music legend Kraftwerk will play at the Gyárkert on August 9, and indie rockers Franz Ferdinand from Glasgow will play on August 29.
