The Hungarian Minister for National Economy has signed agreements in Bulgaria on cooperation in the areas of tourism, defense and business.
Minister of Economy Márton Nagy has visited Bulgaria to meet President Rumen Radev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications, Grozdan Karadjov, Minister of Economy Peter Dilov and Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh. He held talks with the ministers and signed cooperation agreements, the Ministry for National Economy announced in a statement.
During the meetings, they agreed on a defense and economic cooperation agreement, that stipulates the creation of a simplified logistics and transport corridor linking Hungarian businesses with Bulgarian ports and free zones in the Black Sea.
This means a sea exit for the Hungarian economy. The parties are also seeking to develop a long-term strategic partnership in the defense industry, including cooperation in defense manufacturing and supply chain optimization, the statement said.
