A total of 1,191,000 people have filled out the government’s latest National Consultation public survey, with most of them having returned the questionnaires by mail by the August 25 deadline, a state secretary of the Prime Minister’s cabinet office said on Thursday.
The survey was launched in early July to gauge people’s opinions on a range of issues, including migration, tax refunds for families, the fight against the pandemic, the constitutional protection of family subsidies, the recent law on child protection and vaccine production in Hungary.
In a Facebook video message, Csaba Dömötör thanked all those who expressed their opinion, adding that the government will decide on its next steps based on the survey’s results.
The findings of the survey will be made public as soon as possible, he said.
