Some 394,150 National Consultation questionnaires have been returned so far, a state secretary of the Prime Minister’s cabinet office said on Wednesday.
Csaba Dömötör said on Facebook that the majority were returned by post, though many were submitted online.
He said the survey covered a range of issues that would affect life after the coronavirus pandemic, offering people a chance to express their views on topics such as raising the minimum wage, tax refunds for families and the child-protection law which has come under fire by the left wing.
