To the shock of thousands of German fans, Coach Marco Rossi’s side took the lead early in the sixth minute through Zsolt Nagy, but Germany equalized through Jonas Hofmann’s ninth-minute goal. Ádám Lang made his 50th appearance for the Hungarian national team. Rossi’s side will play England again in Wolverhampton on Tuesday. The only dark cloud hanging over the Hungarian team is goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi’s suspension for the next round due to a yellow card that he received for time-wasting. However, coach Rossi had planned on using keeper Dénes Dibusz in the next round anyway, thus the suspension might not have an effect on the game anyhow.
