Hungary and Andorra to Mutually Honor Immunity Certificates

Hungary and Andorra have agreed to mutually recognize each other’s Covid immunity certificates, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said in a post on Facebook on Sunday.

From January 25, Andorra will honor Hungarian immunity certificates, regardless of the type of vaccine with which cardholders have been inoculated, Szijjártó said.

Hungary has reached bilateral agreements with 28 countries on the mutual recognition of Covid immunity certificates, so far, he added.

Szijjártó said Andorra had always supported Hungary when it came to the protection of national minorities, which he said was "a highly sensitive issue for the government given the millions of Hungarians living beyond the border".Continue reading
