Executives from 4iG (headquartered in Budapest) participated in a working breakfast on Sunday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó. Netanyahu met with representatives of companies that have significantly contributed to strengthening Israeli–Hungarian relations, reported Világgazdaság.
The breakfast included business leaders who were invited by Minister Szijjártó. Attendees from 4iG included Chairman Gellért Jászai, accompanied by CEO Péter Fekete, Deputy CEO Dr. István Sárhegyi, and Deputy CEO Yon Rosenberg.
The Israeli Prime Minister met with representatives of companies that play a key role in expanding economic ties between the two nations.
Mr. Szijjártó emphasized that both Hungary and Israel must continuously work to improve the safety of their citizens. He highlighted that
physical and digital security are crucial pillars of future cooperation between the two countries and 4iG aims to take a leading role in bilateral cooperation in the space and defense sectors.
Gellért Jászai shared a post on LinkedIn about the event, stating that he trusts they will play a leading role in strengthening the relations and friendship between the nations, and that through 4iG Space and Defense Technologies, they will be part of excellent business opportunities in the near future. The statement also recalls that the 4iG Group is an investor in SpaceCom, an Israeli stock exchange-listed satellite operator, in which 4iG holds a 20% stake.

Following his visit to Hungary, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu headed straight to Washington to meet U.S. President Donald Trump. His plane landed Sunday night. “The visit was said to have been planned following a three-way conversation last week between Netanyahu, Trump, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban,” reported Times of Israel.
