While the only Hungarian winner of Britain’s Got Talent to date, and the only foreign winner to date, Attraction (Attraction Látványszínház), is preparing for its first full-length show in Hungary eleven years after its sensational success, its own direct replacement is on the verge of global stardom.
Attraction Juniors, led by 21-year-old Márton Szűcs, son of Attraction founder Zoltán Szűcs, was formed two years ago from Attraction Academy students aged 8-18, writes Magyar Nemzet. The company entered Britain’s Got Talent in 2022, when they performed a moving sketch for Marisha Wallace’s Tomorrow, raising awareness of bullying. The performance was a huge success with millions of viewers, but they did not make it through to the live show.
However, the company did not give up and this year they decided to compete again, this time on the world famous America’s Got Talent (AGT).
Their performance was called “Dreams Really Do Come True” – a reminder that if you believe in yourself, anything can happen.
For the first time in the history of America’s Got Talent, they have been given permission to perform to a Taylor Swift song. Their performance was unique in that they completely reimagined the storytelling and visuals of the shadow theater genre, singing live at the end of the scene.
They were one of the last to enter the top 100, and yesterday morning they made it to the live TV show field, which will be broadcast in August, where the top 55 performances will be presented.
In Los Angeles, they performed on the stage where Michael Jackson introduced Moonwalk – a show that aired on the NBC network in the U.S.
