MSZP Co-President Ágnes Kunhalmi Hospitalized with Coronavirus

Ágnes Kunhalmi, Co-President of the Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP), is infected with the coronavirus. Kunhalmi has since been hospitalized. Recently, the opposition candidate for prime minister, Péter Márki-Zay also tested positive for Covid-19. 

Ágnes Kunhalmi announced on Facebook that her rapid test came back positive.

My back was already stabbing me in the evening, and at dawn, I woke up with the feeling that my lungs were about to burst through my back. I got so sick that I ended up in the Honvéd Hospital.

The Socialist politician took the double vaccination and the booster as well.

I was quite worried about what was going to happen now, and all I could think of was that the two Astra Zeneca and the one Pfizer would protect me. The doctor said it’s going to be another few difficult days, but I hope it gets better!”,

she wrote and added: “Please get your vaccinations, this is not a game! Take care of yourselves!”

The opposition alliance’s candidate for Prime Minister, Péter Márki-Zay, has also recently tested positive for coronavirus. He also asked everyone in his Facebook post to look after each other by keeping their distance, wear masks, and wash their hands frequently.
