Hungarian Armed Forces to Continue Upgrade with Turbofan Planes

The upgrade of the Hungarian armed forces will continue with the purchase of a set of new turbofan aircraft, the government said on Friday.

The military air fleet will be expanded with 12 light turbojet L-39NG aircraft in 2024, the government said on its Facebook page. Eight of the airplanes will be used for training pilots and the rest will perform reconnaissance tasks.
