Hungary Today 2024.08.20.

Since 1891, St. Stephen’s Day on August 20th is celebrated as a national holiday in Hungary. Named after our first Christian king, Stephen (975-1038), the holiday is celebration of the foundation of Hungarian statehood in the year 1000.
