MTI-Hungary Today 2023.05.25.

Hans Zimmer began his European tour, Hans Zimmer Live – Europe Tour 2023, on April 23 and will return to Budapest on June 5, with what he promises will be a state-of-the-art visual and lighting effects show featuring some of the world’s most prominent solo musicians.

The two-time Academy Award-winning film composer, who has been performing since 2014, will perform in 15 European countries on the tour, including Portugal, Spain, Slovakia, Austria, and Switzerland.

He will visit Papp László Budapest Sports Arena on June 5, where he will perform at 20:00.

I love the feeling of sharing these fantastic experiences with some of the best musicians in the world, my family members, so to speak. But it wouldn’t make sense without the support of the audience, who are another part of my family. After all, I believe that music connects us all. And I promise to always give our best and play for you from the bottom of our hearts,”

Hans Zimmer said of his tour.

Zimmer has composed music for more than 150 films and has won numerous awards for his work, including two Oscars, four Grammys, and three Golden Globes, and has completed more than five hundred musical projects, making him widely regarded as one of the greatest film composers of all time.

He has composed and performed live scores for countless critically acclaimed films, including Dune, 007 No Time to Die, The Lion King, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight trilogy, The Last Samurai, and Top Gun: Maverick.

His Academy Awards are for his music for The Lion King and Dune.
