Govt: Digital Hungary Agency Heralds ‘New Era’ in Digitalisation

MTI-Hungary Today 2022.05.31.

The establishment of the Digital Hungary Agency — an umbrella organisation mainly for the digitalisation of government and the creation of digital citizenship on a single platform — heralds a new era in digitalisation in the country, the Government Information Centre (KTK) said in a statement on Monday.

Transparency, predictability, and fast and efficient administration are the project’s primary aims, Zoltán Guller, who continues his work as the ministerial commissioner at the head of the Digital Hungary Agency, said.

The agency, under the aegis of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Office, will take over related tasks from the various ministries.

Guller, a tourism expert, has laid the foundations for the country’s digital operations at the international level over the past six years, according to the National Tourist Information Centre, and he will also stay on as head of the Board of the Hungarian Tourism Agency.
