The Hungarian subsidiary of the Germany-based Kärcher officially opened its new service center in Biatorbágy on June 30. In addition to the professional products offered to business users, the latest trends in cleaning technology were also presented at the new facility.

The aim of the development in Biatorbágy (near Budapest) is to enable the company to serve its partners more quickly and efficiently, minimizing delivery times, which is also supported by the location of the new facility, reads the company’s press release.

The 1,000 m² center has also been expanded with a 400 m² logistics area, providing adequate storage space for equipment offered for medium and long-term rental.

A separate demonstration area has been set up at the center, where Kärcher’s professional machines can be viewed and tested in an industrial environment while in operation, demonstrating the reliability and performance of the equipment. The Biatorbágy facility also houses a brand store that serves customers with an industrial focus, while also offering the company’s most popular household products for purchase.

“Our goal with the service development was to provide faster and more efficient service to our customers. To this end, we modernized the workstations and created an environment that supports service activities. During the investment, modern storage systems were also installed to support logistics tasks.

The new center provides modern and well-equipped workplaces for 14 people,”

said Anna Éber, managing director of Kärcher Hungária Kft.

The press release notes that the expansion of capacity necessary to serve the Hungarian market was justified by Kärcher’s continuously growing market presence. With the handover of the new center, further growth in repair metrics is expected through the optimization of logistics and service processes.
